This Privacy Policy describes how information is collected, used, disclosed, stored, and safeguarded when individuals interact with SCAAC through our website, programs, events, communications, or services.

This policy applies solely to SCAAC-controlled platforms and does not apply to third-party websites or services linked through our website.

2. Information We Collect

Automatically collected information may include IP addresses, browser type, operating system, pages visited, and referring URLs. This data is used in aggregate form for analytics, security, and site optimization.

3. How We Use Information

SCAAC may share information with trusted service providers solely for operational purposes such as payment processing, communications, or technology support.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect the rights, safety, or integrity of SCAAC, its stakeholders, or the public.

5. Cookies and Website Analytics

SCAAC may use cookies or similar technologies to support website functionality and analyze usage trends.

Users may manage or disable cookies through their browser settings; however, some features of the website may be affected.

6. Data Security

SCAAC implements reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

While no system can be guaranteed as completely secure, SCAAC exercises responsible data stewardship consistent with its fiduciary role.

7. Data Retention

Information is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill organizational purposes, meet legal or regulatory requirements, and maintain appropriate governance records.

When information is no longer required, it is securely deleted, anonymized, or archived.
